The Correlation of Using TikTok on Students' English-Speaking Skill at Mts Daarul Abror

This study aims to determine whether there is a correlation between the use of TikTok on students’ English-speaking skills at MTs Daarul Abror. This research method is a quantitative method which is a type of associative quantitative research with a correlation approach. This research was conducted at MTs Daarul Abror. The sample of this research amounted to 29 respondents. The data of this study were collected through tests and questionnaires. The test used in this study was a conversation asking for permission and the questionnaire consisted of 20 statements in a closed questionnaire. After collecting the data, the researcher analyzed the data to find the result by using the Descriptive statistical method and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Formula. Based on the results of the correlation analysis, a significant correlation value of 0.000 was obtained, which means 0.00 < 0.05, so that 0.05> hypothesis is rejected, and 0.05 < hypothesis is accepted. The sig value of 0.000 – 0.05 indicates a relationship between the two variables, and the calculated correlation r of 0.626 shows the relationship. The value of r (0.626) is in the range (0.60 -0.799) after recitation using the correlation interpretation criteria and is included in the category of having a strong correlation. The results of this study can conclude that there is a relationship between the use of TikTok and students’ English-speaking skills at MTs Daarul Abror
